Carignan – Abbotts & Delaunay 2023 (Pays d’Oc, Southern France)
A characterful, juicy Carignan with dark fruits such as black cherry, blackberries, and plums. Spicy notes of bay leaf, clove, and a hint of pepper give the wine its Southern French charm. Thanks to old vines and careful winemaking, the wine has beautiful concentration without being heavy. Smooth structure, ripe tannins, and a surprisingly fresh finish — warm, expressive, and full of drinking pleasure.
