Description

The Chardonnay + Weissburgunder 2023 Löss & Lehm from Stefan Meyer is a refined, well-balanced blend that shows how well these two grape varieties work together. It comes from loess and loam soils, which give the wine roundness, finesse and a subtle mineral edge.

The wine is spontaneously fermented and partly aged on the lees, adding texture and depth while keeping its fresh character. Chardonnay brings structure and a light creaminess. Weissburgunder adds elegance, freshness and fine fruit.

On the nose, you find yellow apple, ripe pear, citrus zest and a hint of peach, with soft spice and a light almond note. There is no dominant oak, just a clear expression of terroir.

On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with lively acidity, a soft, creamy start and an elegant, mineral finish. The balance between fruit, freshness and structure makes it easy to drink and versatile with food.
