The Barrique 2023 from Wijnhoeve De Kleine Schorre is an elegant and gastronomic white wine from Zeeland soil, made from 60% Pinot Blanc and 40% Pinot Gris. Thanks to a wood aging of no less than 11 months, this wine gains extra depth, structure, and a refined creamy character. On the nose, you'll discover ripe aromas of pear, white peach, and soft stone fruit, beautifully interwoven with subtle notes of vanilla, toast, and light spices from the wood.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and round, yet fresh and elegant. The ripe fruit is beautifully supported by soft oak tones and a nice balance between creaminess and freshness. The finish is long, refined, and slightly spicy, offering this wine much complexity and character without being heavy. A stylish Dutch white wine with international allure.
