2. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded through the webshop of Wijnhuis Cave V.O.F.
3. Age verification (Alcohol Act)
We only sell alcohol to persons aged 18 and over. By placing an order, the customer declares that they are at least 18 years old. Upon delivery, the carrier may request age verification. If verification is not possible, the order will not be delivered. Any additional costs resulting from this will be charged to the customer.
4. Offers and prices
All prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.
In the event of pricing errors or obvious mistakes, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Offers are valid while stocks last.
5. Orders and agreements
An agreement is concluded when the customer places an order and receives an order confirmation by email.
Wijnhuis Cave V.O.F. reserves the right to refuse an order if there is doubt about the accuracy of the provided information or the age of the customer.
6. Payments
We accept all payment methods available via Shopify Payments. This includes iDEAL, credit cards, and other payment options displayed at checkout.
Payment must be completed in full before goods are shipped.
7. Delivery and shipping
Delivery is only available within the Netherlands.
Shipping is handled by PostNL.
We aim to ship orders within 1–7 business days. Actual delivery times may vary.
If a product is unavailable, the customer will be informed as soon as possible.
8. Right of withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the order.
Opened or unsealed wine bottles cannot be returned due to hygiene and quality regulations (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code).
Return shipments are at the customer’s expense and risk.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days after receiving the returned goods.
9. Warranty and conformity
The statutory warranty applies.
If a product arrives damaged or defective, the customer must report this within 48 hours.
10. Complaints procedure
Complaints can be submitted via info@wijnhuiscave.nl.
11. Liability
Wijnhuis Cave V.O.F. is not liable for indirect damages, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Wijnhuis Cave V.O.F.
12. Force majeure
In case of force majeure, Wijnhuis Cave V.O.F. reserves the right to cancel orders or postpone delivery.
13. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The most recent version is always available on our website.
