During the on-site wine tasting

You'll taste 7 different wines
We'll start with a festive sparkling wine
We'll talk about grapes, regions, and flavours in an accessible way
You'll learn what you like and why
You'll receive a tasting form to keep track of what you drink and like
You can order the tasted wine afterwards, but nothing is obligatory.
The tasting is €30 per person

Everything happens in a relaxed, interactive, and enjoyable way. No complicated wine terms, but fun stories, surprising flavours, and most importantly, a pleasant evening with good company.

What we expect from you

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable evening, we ask a few small things of the host:

Provide a table or place where everyone can sit or stand
Invite a group of approximately 5 to 16 people
Most importantly: enough wine glasses for everyone, so that all wines can be tasted properly.
Make sure there is water and possibly some snacks available
A relaxed atmosphere and good company 😉

We will bring everything else needed for the tasting: the wines, explanations, tasting form, and of course, the stories behind the wine.

All you have to do is enjoy a pleasant wine evening.

Over Wijnhuis Cave

Wij zijn Casper en Vera, de oprichters van Wijnhuis Cave in Delft.

Wat ons verbindt is onze passie voor wijn en de overtuiging dat kwaliteit toegankelijk moet zijn voor iedereen. Daarom selecteren we alleen wijnen waar we zelf volledig achter staan. Geen massaproductie, maar bijzondere wijnen van wijnmakers die met liefde en vakmanschap werken.

Onze proeverijen zijn ontstaan vanuit diezelfde passie. We vinden het geweldig om mensen kennis te laten maken met mooie wijnen en de verhalen achter de flessen.

Vanuit onze vestiging in Delft verzorgen we regelmatig wijnproeverijen in Den Hoorn en de rest van de regio. Den Hoorn ligt praktisch om de hoek van Delft, waardoor we eenvoudig wijnproeverijen kunnen verzorgen voor zowel particuliere gezelschappen als bedrijven die op zoek zijn naar een originele en volledig verzorgde wijnproeverij.

From how many people can we book a wine tasting?

Our wine tastings can be booked for a minimum of 5 people. This makes them perfect for a fun evening with friends, family, colleagues, or neighbors. Do you have a larger group? No problem. We also organize tastings for larger groups and companies.

Will you come to our location?

Yes. We organize wine tastings at almost any desired location. This can be at your home, but also at the office, in a garden, holiday home, meeting location or rented party hall.

We bring the wines and everything needed for the tasting, so you only have to enjoy a pleasant evening.

How long does a wine tasting last?

A wine tasting generally lasts about two hours. Of course, this is not a strict schedule. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions, chat afterward, and enjoy the wines together.

How many wines are tasted?

During the tasting, you will sample seven carefully selected quality wines, including a festive sparkling wine as an aperitif.

We deliberately choose different wine-producing countries, grape varieties, and styles to ensure you embark on a delightful and varied wine journey.

Do you also tell us something about the wines?

Absolutely. Every wine has its own story. During the tasting, we'll tell you about, among other things:

the winemaker;
the wine region;
the grapes used;
the production process;
why the wine tastes the way it does;
fun facts and background stories.

We do this in an accessible way. Not a complicated wine course, but a fun evening where you playfully learn more about wine.
