Rotary
At the foot of the majestic Dolomites, in Northern Italy's Trentino, lies the Rotariwinery. For decades, sophisticated sparkling wines have been produced here according to the Metodo Classico– the same traditional method used for Champagne. The result is elegant wines with a fine mousse, fresh acidity, and an impressive balance.
With every bottle, Rotari demonstrates why Trentino is considered one of the best regions in the world for high-quality sparkling wine.
A winery with deep roots
Rotari is part of Gruppo Mezzacorona, a wine cooperative founded in 1904. More than 1,500 winegrowers now collaborate to produce wines of exceptional quality. By combining knowledge, experience, and passion, Mezzacorona is now one of Italy's leading wine producers.
The name Rotariis a tribute to the Lombard king Rotari, who ruled over much of Northern Italy in the seventh century. Like the king, the winery stands for strength, elegance, and a rich tradition.
Trentino: a unique terroir for sparkling wine
Rotari's vineyards are located between the Alps and Lake Garda. This special landscape creates large temperature differences between day and night. During the day, the grapes enjoy many hours of sunshine, while the cool mountain air in the evening helps to preserve fresh acidity and refined aromas.
The calcareous soils and the mountain climate create ideal conditions for Chardonnayand Pinot Noir, the two grape varieties that form the basis of Rotari's sparkling wines. This combination gives the wines their vibrant freshness, elegant structure, and long finish.
Made according to the Metodo Classico
At Rotari, everything revolves around patience and precision. After the first fermentation, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico. During this aging, the wine develops its refined bubbles and complex aromas.
The Rotari Brut Cuvée 28+owes its name to the minimum aging of 28 months on the lees. This long aging results in a soft mousse and refined notes of brioche, toasted bread, citrus, ripe apple, and subtle hazelnuts. The result is a sparkling wine that is fresh, elegant, and gastronomically versatile.
Versatile enjoyment
Rotari wines are made to celebrate special moments but are equally at home at the dinner table. Thanks to their fresh style and refined structure, they pair excellently with oysters, shellfish, sushi, light fish dishes, creamy risottos, and refined appetizers.
The Rotari Brut Cuvée 28+ is also an excellent aperitif. Its fine mousse, fresh citrus aromas, and elegant finish make every occasion a little more festive.
